Today we made two different kinds of breakfast cookies.  Nutrient Bomb Breakfast Cookies (above) are from plantyou p. 73.  These reminded me a lot of protein bars.  They have a lot of good ingredients, like oats, dried cranberries, ground flaxseeds, chia seeds, and banana.  It was nice to have a breakfast cookie without chocolate chips (since so many of the others in this cookbook have them).  These were really tasty.  I could eat these regularly.  They are good cold too, a day or two later.  Rating:  5 out of 5.

Pumpkin Breakfast Cookies (below) are from plantyou p. 72.  These weren't as good as the Nutrient Bomb Cookies.  They were good, just not as good.  The pumpkin was kind of doughy, and the chocolate chips, while decadently delicious, were an odd combination with the pumpkin.  Overall, I would rate these a 4 out of 5 and could eat them once in a while when I wanted something different.
