Megan made this snack item this morning.  It's called  Lucky Nuts from Be a Plant-Based Woman Warrior, p. 197.  It's really tasty.  It's just a bunch of nuts and seeds with a very light coating of maple syrup.  She overcooked it slightly, so we need to be more careful next time.  I would rate it a 5 out of 5.  I could eat this regularly.




Breakfast today was The Starter Smoothy from plantyou, p.57.  It was pretty good.  I liked that it had a bunch of spinach in it.  Next time, we need to blend it more.  Rating:  4 out of 5.  I could eat this about twice a month.



Lunch today was Smashed Chickpea Salad Sandwich from plantyou p. 106 with Tangy Potato Salad from plantyou p. 118.  

The sandwich was OK, but sour.  I didn't care for it much.  Having sprouts, tomato, and bread helped, but I think we should look for a better sandwich spread.  Rating:  2 out of 5.  This isn't something I want to eat again.

The potato salad was much better.  It was pretty good and made eating the sandwich easier.  It had some dill pickle in it that gave it a good flavor.  Rating:  4 out of 5.  I could eat this once in a while.
