Tonight we had Cesar Salad with Roasted Garlic Croutons from the Veganomicon cookbook.  If this is Cesar then I think I understand why a group of senators murdered him.  He deserved it.  The dressing is just bland.  No flavor at all!  It ain't nothing like the real thing, baby, and that is the problem.  The croutons were OK.  They could have been better but were OK.  I liked the asparagus and mushrooms.  The lettuce was fine.  But that dressing.  Meh.  Time to sharpen my knife and put on a toga!  Rating:  2 out of 5.
