We had Easy Lentil Soup and Southwestern Salad for dinner last night.   The lentil soup wasn't very good.  I could choke it down, but it didn't have much flavor, and adding flavor isn't hard to do with a lentil soup.  I wouldn't make it again.  Rating:  2 out of 5.   The Southwestern Salad was pretty good.  It had a good crunch and lots of flavor.  I would rate it a 4 out of 5.  Both came from the China Study Cookbook.
