Tonight for dinner we had Asparagus Crepes and Ensalada Azteca.  Both of these recipes are from the China Study Cookbook.  Notice a theme of late?  The crepes were surprisingly good.  They had a rich, almost luxurious flavor.  There was a hint of a negative aftertaste, probably due to the oil we used (avocado) but it could have been something else too.  Overall I would rate these a 4 out of 5.  Quite good.  Sadly they are a LOT of work.  It took Megan a long time to get the crepes to turn out correctly.

The Ensalada Azteca was also good.  It reminds me of a salad we've had from Dr. Fuhrman's recipes.  It wasn't as good, but we forgot the dressing which might have made it better.  We'll try that at lunch tomorrow and I'll update.  Refreshing.  It would be good in the summer when everything is fresh.  Rating:  4 out of 5.

Update:  We tried these for lunch the next day.  The salad was OK but not as good.  The crepes were not very good.  I wouldn't recommend them reheated.
