Tonight we had Brenda's Spring Rolls for dinner. Megan made them with three different sauces which I'll cover below. The spring rolls are very healthy and very good, but you do need sauces to give them more flavor.
This first sauce is called Asian Peanut Sauce. It was OK, but not great. Store bought is much better. It just tasted a little odd. Too strong in some way. It's hard to describe. I wouldn't make it again unless I could make it taste different. Maybe with a little doctoring... I would rate it 2 out of 5.
This is an Edamame Dip. It wasn't bad but was almost completely flavorless so pretty much useless. I would rate it a 2 out of 5. I wouldn't make it again.
This last one is called Carmelized Onion Dip with Chives. It was weird tasting. I wanted to like it (I love caramelized onions, but the white stuff (fake cream cheese was too much. I think I would use less and maybe go with a different base. Again, too weird for me. 1 out of 5.
