At my weigh-in today, I found that I had gained 1.9 lbs. since last week.  While disappointing, this wasn't too surprising because I had gone off the diet in a serious way on Thursday when I made homemade baked beans (with three different kinds of pork in them) and had tri-tip and chocolate chip cookies.  On Friday, Megan and I ate out and I had a burger, so I'm sure that didn't help either.  I was hoping I wouldn't have gained this much, but it is what it is.

My fat mass was 39.5%.  This was a change of 3.9% in the wrong direction.  This was a surprise.  I have been exercising more this week and thought some of the weight gain might be due to increased muscle.  Apparently, it isn't.  My BMI remained at 33.


Today for breakfast we had Baked Oatmeal.  It smelled wonderful baking in the oven.  As you can see, there is a kind of chocolate sauce on top of it (made from cocoa and ground cashews.  The whole thing was quite tasty.  Next time I would put fresh bananas on top instead of baked inside.
