For breakfast this morning we had Blueberry Steel-Cut Oats with Lemon Poppy Seed Cream. Again a bullshit name because there is no cream in it. I really wish they would stop with these names that are lies. A better name would have been Blueberry Stell-Cut Oats with Lemon Poppy Seed and Cashew Butter. It's honest and accurate. This lying mars what is an otherwise good tasting recipe.

As to the recipe, it took some time to make, probably about 90 minutes. It did taste good. Megan messed it up a little so we didn't get it quite right. This is one of those, you need to read it in advance because you should do something overnight recipes (soak the cashews). She also forgot the poppy seeds. The flavor was quite sweet and it was filling. Their serving sizes were, once again, absurdly low. The amount in my bowl was supposedly for three people. I would describe this as a large serving for one person. I've found with most of the recipes from this program that the serving sizes are about half what they should be. And the program touts that you can eat as much as you want but then comes up with serving sizes that wouldn't feed a large rat. These two things don't jive. Luckily they give lots of data on what is in the recipe (like calories, fat, salt, etc., so it is easy to calculate what you are getting.
