Eat to Live, Week 6, Day 1

Well, when I got on the scale this morning, I had gained 0.4 lbs.  I'm not surprised.  Three times this past week I had to go off of the diet.  Twice due to luncheons and once because of a problem with my lunch (so I had a sandwich at a deli).  Each of these times I didn't go out of my way to try to eat healthily, but I didn't overdo it either.  I just ate things I liked and tried not to eat too much.  

That was part of the reason I gained weight.  I also think that because we had an insanely busy week (the last week of school and graduations) that it didn't help either.  When we did eat on the diet, we ate things we liked that were on the diet and probably didn't eat enough salads.  I actually had wanted salad for dinner tonight it had been so long since I had had any salad (about 4 days).

Today I'm back on the diet (as of tonight.  We had to eat out for lunch due to graduations and I had a burger) and I'm hoping to lose more weight this week.  We'll see.  I actually kind of miss the food on the diet.  I think this is a good thing because it shows I'm getting used to it.

Interestingly, my fat mass went up slightly but my BMI stayed the same.  Weird.
