Eat to Live, June 30, 2017
Our breakfast this morning was Apple Pie Smoothie. I hate it when things are named these phony names. If it's apple pie, where's the crust? More like Cinnamon Apple Smoothie. It did taste quite good. In fact, I was surprised how good it tasted. It had a strong apple cinnamon flavor. It has a lot of calories per serving, 363, (for an Eat to Live recipe) which is surprising considering that it is mainly apples with a little raisin and dates and walnuts.
Today will be the last day of week 8 on this diet! That's a pretty decent milestone. I had to weigh myself a day early since we are going on vacation for about a week. I don't know how much I'll be able to post while I'm gone, probably not much. I'm also likely to gain weight next week since it will be difficult to stay on the diet the whole time. I'm not concerned about it, however. It is the long haul that matters, not a few days.
My weight dropped 1.5 pounds this week. Not bad for being as busy as we were and having a hard time staying on the diet the whole week. It might have been closer to 2 pounds if I had one more day. I have now lost over 20 pounds! My weight was 244.0 lbs. My fat mass was 92.4 lbs and my BMI was 34. Here's hoping I don't go up too much next week!
