Eat to Live, June 25, 2017


We had this for lunch today with some leftovers from last night.  It's called Quinoa Bean Salad. It was very good and had lots of flavor. I think it would be better cold, so next time we make it we'll try to make it a few hours in advance and refrigerate it.


For dinner tonight we had the burgers below. They are called Meat Lovers Beef, Bean, and Mushroom Burgers. There isn't much beef in each burger, about 1 ounce. Still, they looked like the real thing and had traces of real meat in them. They tasted like black beans but were made with pinto beans. They were the best burgers we've had so far but needed a bit more beef in them. The bean taste prevailed over everything else.

We also had Green Bean Salad with Lemon Basil Vinaigrette. It was pretty good too but would have been better cold.
