Eat to Live, Week 4, Day 3
Today we tried out a tool to cut pineapple. It's called the Silver Stainless Steel Pineapple De-Corer Peeler Stem Remover Blades for Diced Fruit Rings by Super Z Outlet. How's that for a mouth full! Here is a picture of what it looks like:

As you can see it's pretty simple. In practice, it works really well. It was very easy to slice, core, and remove the fruit from the rest of the pineapple. The only downside that I could find with it is you might lose a little bit of the fruit, but it is so much faster, that I think it is worth it. This might be the best device we've bought yet for making preparation easier.

For lunch, we had Fiesta Stuffer Wraps with sliced avocado. It was pretty good! I added some salsa to it to make it more flavorful. It would be a good lunch I could eat at school.
This was our dinner tonight along with a salad of course. It's called mushroom and white bean loaf. It is a lot like meatloaf. Do I prefer my wife's meatloaf? You bet I do! She makes the best meatloaf I've ever had! But, this was pretty good. You could probably make a sandwich out of it. We should have cooked it a little more. It wasn't as done as I would have liked to get that crunchy exterior. I could eat this a few times a month.
