Eat to Live, Week 3, Day 4

An interesting dinner today.  Much more the kind of thing I like to eat (except the burger wasn't beef).



Here are the burgers.  They are called White Bean, Wild Rice, and Almond Burgers.  



We also had Avocado, Corn, and Pumpkin Seed Salsa, pictured above.   



This is the final product on a whole wheat bun.  It was pretty good!  The salsa had some jalapeno pepper in it.  Frankly, it needed a lot more.  I couldn't even feel the heat, so I added several more for my lunch tomorrow.  

I just bought this Guacamole container.  I'll let you know how it does.  Here's what it looks like:



It's called the Guac-Lock.  You can pick it up on Amazon for about $15. Guac-Lock on Amazon.  It works by pressing the bottom up in the direction of the arrow to remove the air.  Here's a video that shows how it works: 






UPDATE:  I tried the Guac-Lock with my lunch and it worked out very well.  The guacamole tasted fresh!  The burgers were quite good too!
